          Description

          GarageBand® teaches students how to get started using GarageBand®, the full-equipped, music creation studio available on MacOS and iOS. You’ll learn music composition using its expansive sound library including instruments, presets for guitar and voice, and an incredible selection of session drummers and percussionists.           Prerequisites

          GarageBand® is a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) for macOS and iOS devices that allows users to create your own music, podcasts, and audio tracks.  This class will primarily focus on the iOS version available on the iPad and iPad Pro.  Students using the macOS version on desktop or laptop; or the iOS version on iPhone will be using user interfaces with significant differences to the iPad version.  

          Beginner GarageBand® is recommended for ages 7-Adult.  No previous experience is necessary.  Access to the GarageBand® software running on iOS or macOS is required.  A high speed internet connection and access to the Google Meet video conferencing platform are also required.
