                  Description

                  Code a virtual robot using a web-based environment.  Use your Scratch coding skills in a new way... to control a robot!  Add sensors, motors electromagnets, and more to make your system autonomous and respond to situations on its own.  Show your mastery by designing games, navigating obstacle courses and mazes, and achieving super-fun challenges.
                   
                  This course applies Computer Science Fundamentals to Robotics, an essential 21st century tool.   

                  Prerequisites

                  • Ages 10-Adult
                  • Previous experience using the Scratch Graphical Programming Language is required.
                  • Previous experience in Beginner Robotics using the LEGO WeDo or VEX IQ robotics system is highly recommended for students ages 10-Adult. 
                  • Proficiency using LEGO WeDo or VEX IQ is required for students ages 7-10 prior to enrolling for this class 

                  Learning Format

                  • Weekly Model: Students learn for 1-hour once a week for 4 weeks.
