From a Parenting standpoint, the NextGen SmartyPants Intro Course helps gain your child's commitment to learning by helping them achieve small success and gaining confidence early on. Parents also learn about NEXTGEN4, the innovative NextGen SmartyPants curriculum that underlies all of our programs. You will learn how the curriculum is designed, how it works in practice for your child, and what you can do to support your child's learning process through the curriculum. Finally, the NextGen SmartyPants Intro Course enables your child's Teacher the ability to formulate an educational plan with you for your child.

The NextGen SmartyPants Intro Course is held across (4) 1-hour class sessions - this includes 2-sessions of Introductory Robotics and 2-sessions of Introductory Coding. For each pair of classes, the first teaches introductory concepts regarding the technology; the second week builds off of the previous week's lessons to help them see progress; get comfortable with the technology and curriculum; and get into more of the "cool stuff." Registration for the Intro Course is just $99. Enrollment continues on a rolling basis, so your child can begin their learning program at any time. There are Robotics and Coding classes most days of the week, so you can choose the days that work best for you. If none of them work, just let us know and our Teachers can make accommodations to support your schedule, as well.
