Introduction to 3D-Printing: Print-A-Brick

Introduction to

Print-A-Brick: Introduction to 3D-Printing teaches students to design, create, and 3D-print their own LEGO Brick compatible products.  Students learn every step of the process including design, equipment setup, and equipment maintenance.  Computer Aided Design (CAD) to draw their part on a computer in 3D, including design techniques specifically for 3D-printing.  They setup and control a high-precision, dual-head, professional-quality 3D-printer to produce very high-quality products.  Finally students print their parts using ABS, PLA, and other materials.

Please note, this class requires the purchase of a reel of filament material for use by your student.  We use a specific, high-quality filament print material that we have found works best with our printer.  Please budget $40-$60 for the purchase of a filament reel for your student’s prints.  While not required, please also expect that your student will want to come in and check on a print job they may have setup to run outside of normal class hours.

Recommended for Ages 13-Adult.  3D Printing classes are available every Friday and Sunday afternoons through October.  Sign-up today!
