STEAM Programs We Offer

STEAM classes are offered through Wethersfield schools and through the office we have in Canton. Throughout Connecticut we hold after-school programs that can help kids learn about several subjects such as 3D printing, circuits, coding, engineering, LEGO building, personal finance, robotics and more. There are various age demographics we can divide people in, from the littlest preschoolers to the oldest high schoolers.

We have several camps for Wethersfield children that can be done throughout the year if they are not able to come to our regular STEAM courses. These are more focused courses that can be divided into various age groups who want a hands-on experience learning about STEAM topics. LEGO building, engineering, coding, robotics and more are available for any child who wants to delve deep into their topic and get engaged in science, technology, computing and engineering.

STEM/STEAM Education Programs

Teacher Training

Wethersfield kids who want to learn STEAM subjects can work with us in their schools or at our Canton facility to take courses tailored to their own needs and age range. An elementary schooler and a high schooler probably won’t take the same course together, but they will be able to learn subjects at their own pace, such as robotics, coding, 3D printing and engineering, among others.

Team Building Event

We have plenty of fun and engaging classes for people who want to start studying STEAM subjects or regaining your passion in it. The catalogue for Wethersfield adult students includes 3D printing, robotics, and engineering, so there are plenty of diverse choices to learn in our Danbury facility. We also offer programs for Wethersfield teachers and education professionals who want to connect with fellow peers in the industry or if they want to learn a new technique for teaching their STEAM subject in school.

NextGen SmartyPants works to instill a passionate love for STEAM subjects in curious adults and moldable children. We hold our classes, programs and other camps at our Canton studio and at your Wethersfield school, depending on what we offer. Give us a call today if you want to find out more about our classes or to sign up!
