All programs are held at our Maker Studio located at The Shops at Farmington Valley in Canton, CT, but we may also be able to bring our STEAM classes to your school depending on location.

Our team is made up of passionate teachers, engineers and parents who want nothing more than to educate young minds and adults looking to gain a new hobby or skill. We are dedicated to inspiring our students in the exploration of science, technology, engineering, art or math (STEAM). Our educators believe that through hands-on learning and independence, students can gain a lifelong curiosity and find a sense of self-expression and inspiration to continue on.

STEM/STEAM CLASSES

NextGen SmartyPants offers Simsbury residents the chance to take a STEAM course in-studio or in a school in the Simsbury area. Our classes are designed to create a fun learning environment that will engage you or your child in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math no matter age or skill level. Several of the courses we offer Simsbury residents includes 3D printing, circuits, coding, engineering, lego building, personal finance, robotics and more. STEM/STEAM CAMPS

For Simsbury kids who may not feel as engaged being on a sports team or are wanting to explore a new passion over the summer or winter break, we offer several camp programs to engage them in the world of STEAM. LEGO building, robotics, coding and engineering are just a few of the subjects we cover in our camps, which are divided into various age groups. We offer programs at a Junior (ages 4-7), Beginner (7+), Intermediate (10+) and Advanced (13+) level so any student can feel the same type of engagement they need. NextGen SmartyPants provides Simsbury kids with a fun and creative outlet for them to explore their interests in the STEAM program. We have a hands-on approach to learning, where kids will be able to create several different projects based on the skill level and age of those involved.
