FIRST® LEGO® League is a global robotics competition for young students. FIRST stands for "For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology," and it is an organization that aims to inspire young people's interest and participation in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields.
This playful introductory STEM program ignites young students' natural curiosity and builds their habits of learning with hands-on activities.
In Explore, teams of students ages 6-10 focus on the fundamentals of engineering as they explore real-world problems, learn to design, and code, and create unique solutions
Friendly competition is at the heart of Challenge, as teams of students ages 9-16 engage in research, problem-solving, coding, and engineering - building and programming a LEGO robot that navigates the missions of a robot game.
At NextGen SmartyPants, we guide FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Robotics Teams in districts and schools throughout the state. Our goal is to provide a fun platform for kids to apply what they've learned in our classes while fostering a spirit of camaraderie.
We take care of everything a team requires for successful competition and enjoyable learning, including staffing, team management, equipment, education, and more.
Our program ensures that students experience the joy of hands-on learning, where they design, code, and build robots using LEGO bricks. Participants gain a solid understanding of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) principles.
We are currently in the process of forming teams for a friendly competition scheduled for November. If your child is enthusiastic about joining the Robotics Team, rest assured that we are here to provide full support throughout the entire journey.
Please complete this form if your child is interested in joining the team or if you would like to learn more about the Robotics Team.
